A Special Congregational Meeting has been called by the Governing board of Westwood Church to elect a Nominating Committee.

The Nominating Committee has an important role in our church. This committee is composed of the Lead Pastor, two (2) Elders, elected by the Governing Board, and two (2) members from the congregation. These two people must be in good standing and have a testimony of good reputation in the congregation. These two people will be elected by the congregation in this Special Congregational Meeting scheduled for March 12. This is one (1) month and a few days prior to the Annual Congregational Meeting Scheduled for April 16, 2023. Spouses may not serve concurrently on the nominating committee and spouses of the Governing Board members may not serve on the Nominating Committee.

Duites of the Nominating Committee: The Nominating Committee shall select members for the position of the Governing Board, from the list of members in good standing, and present a written report of its work at least seven days prior to the Annual Congregational Meeting.
